Ben joined the firm in October 2000 and the following year became the head of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Section, which is responsible for a wide range of medical negligence and nursing home liability claims throughout the state in both state and federal courts.

With more than 17 years of experience as a trial attorney, Ben’s practice has been concentrated almost exclusively on representing plaintiffs and their families in medical negligence claims and medical product liability claims. He has collected millions of dollars in compensation for his clients in medical malpractice judgments and settlements and has returned hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Medicare and Medicaid systems as re-payment of past medical expenses.

During his legal career, Ben has donated more than 200 hours of free legal services to people in need through his participation in the Pro Bono Project of the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
